2. Aaron Rodgers will have a monster game
A big deal is being made out the Green Bay Packers quarterback’s calf, which has been injured and is expected to hinder him against the Dallas Cowboys. However, this is the likely soon-to-be MVP that will be playing on Sunday, so it’s hard to bet against him. Rodgers looked fantastic against the Detroit Lions in Week 17, and they held one of the NFL’s second-ranked total defense. Rodgers threw for 226 yards and two touchdown passes on 17-of-22 passing despite not playing the whole game.
The Packers quarterback also thrives on being counted out dating back to getting drafted 24th overall, and a chip on his shoulder will only make him more dangerous against a Cowboys defense that is much less overwhelming than the Lions defense. The Packers quarterback will have a performance to remember and may even go down in history with all-time sports greats playing through obstacles such as NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan playing with the flu in the 1997 NBA Finals. Expect Rodgers to throw for at least 300 yards and three touchdown passes.
