Chelsea have developed something of a reputation for sending numerous talented young players out on loan to forge their careers in recent season, with 2014/15 being no exception – the Blues currently have 26 players plying their trade in loan spells across the continent.

Whilst not all are on top of their game, these five are all putting in the performances that show they may just have a Stamford Bridge future:
Kenneth Omeruo (Middlesbrough)
Nigerian international centre back Kenneth Omeruo is currently enjoying his second loan spell in the Championship with Middlesbrough, after impressing under Mourinho’s former assistant, Aitor Karanka, at the end of last season. Omeruo has picked up his performances where they left off last season as Karanka’s side impress in the second tier, whilst he also played well in the recent League Cup draw with Liverpool, dispatching his penalty in the epic shoot-out at Anfield.
