Young Mexican attacking midfielder Ulises Davila is carving out a real career for himself in the Spanish Segunda division – after impressing with Cordoba last season, scoring the goal that earned them a dramatic last day promotion at Las Palmas, Davila has joined Tenerife for the new campaign and has started life in the Canary Islands well, already getting on the scoresheet for the club as they look to challenge for promotion back to La Liga, whilst helping to replace new Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez. Whether this will be enough for the 23 year-old to catch the eye of Mourinho remains to be seen.
