Pacey Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah was largely peripheral during his first six months at the club after signing from FC Basel, but will be hoping to impress more after a full pre-season schedule with the Blues under his belt.
Salah has notched a goal during the pre-season campaign and looked particularly sharp out wide, meaning that he is looking likely to become a much more integral part of the set-up.
