Having spent a British record £50m on this Spaniard in 2011 the striker has probably been given more chances than most to try and prove himself.

Torres has been widely considered a flop since joining the club three-and-a-half years ago and now Diego Costa and the returning Didier Drogba are competing with him for a place in attack.
