1) Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
One of the most popular Arsenal players of all time and widely regarded to be the best to pull on the famous red and white shirt, Thierry Henry was given the surprise chance to add to his club-record goal tally with a short loan spell at the Emirates Stadium in 2011/12.
The Frenchman became one of the best players in the world in his first spell with the club, scoring 226 goals in eight seasons between 1999 and 2007, but seemed past his best when the Gunners sold him to Barcelona in the 2007/08 season.
Although Henry won the treble in his second season at the Nou Camp, he was largely a fringe player the following year, before moving to the MLS with New York Red Bulls.
It was during the close-season in the US in January of 2012 that Arsene Wenger took a gamble on the veteran forward after he spent time time training with his old club.
He marked his second debut with his beloved Arsenal with a trademark finish in a 1-0 win over Leeds in the FA Cup, and he also netted a late winner against Sunderland in his final Premier League appearance, taking his total tally with the club to 228 goals.
