3. Bayern Munich would be mad to allow Toni Kroos to leave.
Manchester United boss David Moyes was in attendance at the Emirates, reportedly to watch Toni Kross of Bayern Munich. But on Wednesday’s night’s evidence, this is probably the closest the Scot will come to the mercurial German. Kroos bossed the game, completing more passes than Arsenal’s entire team, all with unerring accuracy, and breaking the deadlock with a stunning curling effort. Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich would be mad to allow the midfielder, whose contract expires in summer 2015, to leave Bavaria and even if Kroos seeks a fresh challenge, he is far too good for the Europa League and you’d expect the likes of Real Madrid or even Barcelona to be interested.
