Arsenal’s transfer spend totals at a meagre £13m – with £10m of that on their single major addition, goalkeeper Petr Cech. Only newly-promoted Norwich City and Swansea City, whose free signing of Cameroonian attacker Andre Ayew is proving to be a brilliant bit of business, spent less at £10m each.
