Alex, another player with Premier League experience, currently starts for PSG, but his contract expires in the summer. The Brazilian is only 31-years-old, so is arguably in his defensive peak. Although his wage demands would likely be pretty high, the fact he could sign on a free makes him a relatively risk free option for the Reds.
