2) Paul Pogba (Juventus)
A player Manchester United will really be regretting letting go, French youngster Paul Pogba has gone on to establish himself as one of the best midfield prospects in the world since he left Old Trafford on a free transfer to join Juventus back in 2012. The 21-year-old has gone on to put in some powerful displays in the middle of the park for Antonio Conte’s side, forming a key part of the squad in two of their last three consecutive title wins. United have supposedly expressed an interest in signing him back, but will have to pay up a staggering fee of around £60m, according to various reports, with the player having soared in value since making a name for himself in Serie A. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have also been linked with Pogba on occasion, and it could be that the loss of Pogba will go on to haunt United even more if he does eventually move back to another Premier League club.
