It seems as if Rooney has been around for a lifetime and his skill and impact over his 13 seasons in the Premier League is almost now taken for granted since making his debut in 2002.
But Rooney will go down as a legend both for Manchester United and likely England if he finally breaks Bobby Charlton’s scoring record.
