The players we expect to come in and those to leave Old Trafford.
New Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has a huge task on his hands to try and bring the 13-time Premier League winners back to their former glory.
Under the guidance of David Moyes in 2013/14 the Red Devils finished with their lowest ever points tally since the English top flight’s re-branding in 1992 and also left them without European football for the first time since 1981.
Needless to say this disappointment cost Moyes his job, but many of the players are also said not to be good enough and here are five transfers in and five out we expect van Gaal to oversee this summer.
Players out:
Tom Cleverley
A real area of disappointment for United has been central midfield, where £27.5m signing Marouane Fellaini has failed to impress and even Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher have been poor.
Yet the worst of the bunch has to be Cleverley, with the Englishman failing to look like a top-class player for some time.
