One confirmed departure from the Theatre of Dreams is Ferdinand, who after 12 years with the club will leave this summer when his current contract expires.
The 35-year-old has been considered among the best centre-backs in the world at his peak, but with form and fitness dropping this was the right time to cut the cord.
