This has been one of the longest running transfer sagas of the season and with the 18-year-old having been named in the PFA Team of the Year it’s little wonder.
Shaw is also being tipped to be in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the 2014 World Cup and it seems the starlet is unlikely to be a Saints player come next term.
The teenager appears to have a colossal £30m price-tag on his head though and the west Londoners will face competition from Manchester United for his signature.
