Esteban Cambiasso from Inter Milan
Spurs have got a host of talented central midfielders, but none with as much experience and class as Cambiasso, who will be available on a free transfer when his Inter contract expires at the end of the month.
The 33-year-old has made 52 senior international appearances for Argentina and has won the Champions League, La Liga, five Serie A crowns and a host of other titles during an illustrious career that is far from over.
