4) Andre Villas-Boas (Zenit Saint Petersburg)
A man who divides opinion in the English game, Zenit Saint Petersburg manager Andre Villas-Boas has not exactly achieved a great deal in his short time in charge of first Chelsea and then Tottenham Hotspur, though many would also argue that he was unfairly dismissed on both occasions, without being given the time to fully develop his project. The Portuguese tactician did fantastic work during his time with Porto, and remains one of the most promising young coaches in the world. Although currently with Russian giants Zenit, AVB could be worth looking at if England part company with Hodgson, as his modern, tactical approach to the game could be a useful remedy for a group of players that often let their emotions get the better of them.
