2. Luke Shaw (Southampton to Manchester United, £31m)
Shaw’s £31m move to Manchester United certainly raised some eyebrows and the left-back didn’t set the world on fire in his first two seasons with the club after struggling with form and fitness.
He has begun the 2015-16 strongly, however, and will be keen to prove he is worth the mammoth price tag.
