4. S Kam Chancellor – After two remarkable playoff games in which he established himself as the true leader of the Legion of Boom, all eyes will be on Chancellor as the gets the unenviable task of being the last line of defense against the Patriots offensive machine. That includes spying offensive linemen that may report as eligible, keeping two eyes (and the ones in the back of his head) on Gronk, reading Tom Brady’s eyes and most importantly – making plays on the ball.
3. LB Bobby Wagner – The Seahawks star LB has a lot of work to do: shutting down RB LeGarrette Blount, covering TE Rob Gronkowski, spying on Tom Brady and pretty much all of the little things on top of that. As tough of a job as Sherman, Chancellor and the Legion of Boom have, Wagner is going to need to be that first line of defense when the Patriots offensive line gives Brady time to throw and the RBs room to run. If he misses his assignments or doesn’t finish his tackles, the Patriots will run roughshod over the Seahawks.
