While this may seem drastic, where does Balotelli really go from here? A break from the game or walking away sounds ridiculous given he is just 24 years of age, but something needs to change for him to get back to his best.
Having supported Milan as a boy, if he can’t make it work with the Rossoneri and have the motivation to be a protagonist for them, then where will he shine on a consistent basis?
Balotelli risks being remembered as a journeyman, and although he may not be the ‘champion’ that many expected him to be, he is far too talented to be moving around every summer and not being able to find a permanent home.
