Signed to much pomp and excitement last summer, the 21-year-old has now joined Malaga on loan and will spend the 2014/15 season with the Andalusian side. There is still some hope that he will be able to get some much needed first team experience in his native Spain before returning to Anfield to showcase what he’s learned. Failing that, the Reds will be hopeful of recouping as much of the £6.8m transfer they laid out for him.
