Once a popular favourite amongst the Liverpool faithful, the Spanish number two has seemingly fell out of favour at the club and after spending the season on loan with Napoli, but despite impressing with the Italians they have ruled out making a permanent offer for him. It’s not likely that he’ll want to play second fiddle to Simon Mignolet, so a return to La Liga will probably be in order.
