Who is to say that the long-term replacement for Suarez is not already at Anfield? Sturridge scored five goals in four games once Suarez was handed his 10 match ban for biting, and that may be enough to convince Brendan Rodgers that he is in fact the man to lead the Liverpool front line next season.
