Which of these players would most likely boost Liverpool’s top four hopes?

Liverpool have a fantastic chance of finishing in the top four this season, largely thanks to the ludicrous goalscoring exploits of a certain Luis Suarez…
However, the squad is thin in certain areas, and January reinforcements would certainly strengthen Brendan Rodgers’ chances of leading the Reds into next season’s Champions League.
Here’s five players who could help Liverpool pip Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United to a top four spot.
5) Mohamed Salah – FC Basel
The most likely player to join Liverpool this January is FC Basel’s flying winger, dubbed: ‘The Egyptian Messi’. Salah plays on the right wing, and enjoys cutting in and shooting with his left, much like Messi, or even Arjen Robben. Unlike Sterling who currently occupies the right-wing berth at Anfield, Salah provides a consistent goal threat, having scored 17 times in 27 matches for Egypt. He’s also proven he can do it against Premier League opposition, bagging against Chelsea and Tottenham during European competition in 2013.
Liverpool’s attackers are playing very well, and scoring goals for fun at the minute. However, there is very little in terms of backup should one of either Sturridge, Suarez, Sterling or Coutinho pick up an injury, so the signing of Salah would unarguably improve Brendan Rodgers’ squad.
