The Citizens have already taken former Chelsea star Frank Lampard under their wing this season, and though they may not be able to keep hold of him next term they could very well replace him with Gerrard. City boss Manuel Pellegrini has already confirmed he is interested in the 34-year-old. As Lampard has proved, he could still do a job, and the chance at claiming a Premier League title before he retires could turn out to be a clincher.
