Michael Laudrup
One of the true playing legends of the game is quickly establishing himself as a top manager, particularly in the English league where he led Swansea to their first major trophy in their centenary year.
He’s also helped establish the Swans as a mid-table Premier League side in only their second season in the top flight and the astute signing of a player of the calibre of Michu, for just £2million, shows Laudrup has an eye for a bargain.
Joachim Low
The German national manager was Jurgen Klinsmann’s No.2 before taking over the role as his own in 2006.
Since then Low has led Germany to the final of Euro 2008 and the semi finals of the 2010 World Cup – losing out both times to winners Spain.
Low has introduced a fluid and attacking style to the team which sees play-makers such as Mezut Ozil really shine and fans of Arsenal’s 2004 ‘Invincibles’ would welcome the 53-year-old’s tactics at the Emirates.
David Moyes
The Scot is being linked with managerial jobs as varied as Manchester United and Wolfsburg, after spending 11 impressive years at Goodison Park.
Moyes is yet to sign a new contract with Everton after taking them to what is likely to be another top six finish in the Premier League on a minimal budget.
This money-saving expertise would appeal to the sound business-like setup Stan Kroenke has at Arsenal and it may just be the big move that would tempt Moyes away.
