Bender has been targeted by Arsenal among others but could be snatched away by the Anfield side in the summer for a cut price deal as Christoph Kramer, who plays in Bender’s position, returns from a two year loan after just signing a new contract.
Bender sits primarily at the base of midfield but dominates the ground he covers with a powerful style, tireless effort and a wide array of passes at his disposal.
