This bunch are talented beyond their years and should be a huge hit this campaign.
The Premier League is back and some young talent have really showed that they are ready to take the division by storm in 2012/13.
Here are five starlets that fanatix thinks had a great weekend and are set for a brilliant season.
Ross Barkley – Everton
The 19-year-old spent last term on-loan in Yorkshire with both Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United, but new Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has decided to give the midfielder a chance at Goodison Park this campaign.
Barkley seized the opportunity and netted the first Premier League goal of the youngster’s career to help Everton to a solid 2-2 draw away at Norwich City.
Coutinho – Liverpool
The Brazilian was touted for big things this season and it seems all the hype was well worth it as Coutinho created more chances than any other Premier League player this weekend.
After signing from Inter Milan in January the 21-year-old made an immediate impact for the Reds and looks to be a vital player for the Merseyside club this term.
Oscar – Chelsea
The Blues’ starlet was given a start by returning boss Jose Mourinho ahead of Juan Mata and the Brazil international repaid the Portuguese maestro’s faith with a goal.
Oscar pulled the strings in midfield and caused Hull City problems all afternoon on Sunday.
Nathan Redmond – Norwich City
At £2m it looked like an absolute steal for Norwich when the club acquired 19-year-old Redmond from Birmingham City this summer.
The midfielder was instrumental in the Canaries attacking chances against Everton and helped lay on the pass that eventually saw Ricky Van Wolfswinkel score the equaliser.
Luke Shaw – Southampton
The left-back had a superb debut season with the Saints in 2012/13 and since turning 18-years-old, the Englishman has signed a five-year deal at St Mary’s.
Shaw was a dominant force against West Bromwich Albion and helped Southampton to a clean-sheet – somehing the club struggled to achieve much of last season.
