Spreading the goals
Sixteen different players have scored goals for Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
That’s five more than Liverpool, four more than Manchester City and three more than Chelsea.
When a player the Gunners have relied upon for goals loses form or is unavailable through injury, someone else in the squad invariably picks up the baton.
Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil began the season wonderfully, before Aaron Ramsey took on the mantle of principle goalscoring threat.
When Ramsey was injured, Jack Wilshere went on a hot streak. When both were absent, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain stepped up to the plate, and crucial goals have come from Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and even Nicklas Bendtner.
