Liverpool transfer news
Does this transfer seem a little fanciful? Here are five main reasons the Gunners surely don’t stand much of a chance of landing the Reds contract rebel…
1) They can’t afford him
With the Daily Mail claiming that Sterling is ready to turn down as much as £180,000 per week to remain at Anfield, this surely puts him out of Arsenal’s price range. TSM Plug has Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil down as the club’s highest earners on £140,000 per week and Sterling is surely not worth more than them right now, even if he has the potential to be world class.
