4. Unwilling to play anything other than quarterback
One primary reason why Tebow has not been able to find a job in the NFL is that he is not open to playing any position other than quarterback.
This would especially be detrimental to the Philadelphia Eagles, who are expected to employ a run-heavy offense in the 2015 season after signing running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews.
Tebow was a dual-threat quarterback in his playing days, and at times he was able to make up for his poor throwing mechanics by picking up rushing yards and touchdowns.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly loves to run the ball just like he did at Oregon, and Tebow may come in handy as a running back or fullback if he were to sign with the Eagles. If Tebow is not willing to be flexible, Kelly would have difficulty finding work for him.
