3. Poor accuracy
As noted on the previous page, Tebow has extremely poor throwing mechanics. He is unable to accurately complete the necessary NFL throws on a consistent basis.
His completion percentage with the Broncos in 2011 was 46.5, and Peyton Manning coming in to break passing records(55 touchdown passes and 5,477 passing yards) just two seasons later does Tebow no favors.
In his last stand with the New England Patriots, he completed just 37 percent of his passes in preseason action and was clearly outplayed by Ryan Mallett, who still has yet to receive significant playing time as a starter.
Tebow’s spotty accuracy would be nothing but detrimental to the Eagles’ young and developing receiving corps, who just lost Jeremy Maclin to free agency. The Eagles are counting on Riley Cooper and second-year players Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff to step up.
