1) Simply put, the NCAA is profiting off the hard work of others without fair compensation for their work.
Only two groups of people are really responsible for making the billions upon billions of dollars the NCAA earns every year: coaches and players. Everyone else is just supporting characters that either move around observing or sitting in offices making deals. But it’s the hard work of the student-athletes that the NCAA exists off of.
There are plenty of far-reaching analogies for what the NCAA does for student-athletes that may seem a bit extreme, but the bottom line is this: People pay money to see the players, and if the NCAA is managing the profits that those players bring in, the players deserve their fair share.
