4. For consistently failing to win against any other top six teams
Rodgers has been in charge of Liverpool for 18 months but recorded just three wins – two of which came against Tottenham and one against Manchester United – against the Premier League other top 6 clubs. Only one of these came away from home, against an utterly dreadful Spurs side who were about to sack their manager. This form is simply not good enough for a Liverpool side who have been billed as title hopefuls this season.
