The celebrations that accompanied Real Madrid’s dramatic 2014 Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid showed just how much La Decima meant to the club and its fans – so they could take their eye off the ball in the coming campaign. There is also the chance that Carlo Ancelotti and his side focus more on the domestic scene this season, having been forced down to third place in La Liga last season by Atletico and Barcelona.
