3. Louis van Gaal
Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal has made no secret of his desire to manage in the Premier League next season and, at the moment, Spurs are the only club in a position to offer him that chance. The legendary Dutchman, 63, is reportedly ‘interested’ in the job at White Hart Lane and if Daniel Levy can get the deal done, there should be renewed optimism around the club. Van Gaal is proven winner, who boasts titles at every club he’s managed (including AZ Alkmaar, for those who argue he can only win at big clubs). Arguably, Levy does not deserve such a coup after the way he’s mismanaged the club but, at the moment, it’s on the cards.
