1. Christian Eriksen
Glen Hoddle, Ossie Ardiles, Gazza, Rafa van der Vaart… Over the years, Spurs have boasted star players with the quality to change a game single-handedly. In the current, post-Bale squad there is a lack of attacking quality but Christian Eriksen has done enough in his debut season to suggest he could be a world class player. Despite being played out of position of the left wing, the 22-year-old has shone and bagged eight goals – three of which have been direct free-kicks. In a settled and successful team, under a competent manager, Denmark international Eriksen can be a star.
