Arsenal have been struggling for goals at the start of this season. After struggling to overcome managerless Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the Premier League season, they were held to a 0-0 draw by Turkish side Besiktas in their Champions League qualifier.
With current front-man Olivier Giroud struggling for form, Fanatix takes a look at five striker’s that could fill the void in an otherwise title-worthy squad at the Emirates Stadium:
5) Samuel Eto’o (Free Agent)
Pros: An experienced stop-gap player who would be useful short-term addition for Arsenal while they look at other targets, as Chelsea did last season. A proven finisher who is calm in possession, he could be a decent impact player.
Cons: Will be 34 in March and is well past is best. It is questionable as to whether the player will offer much that the likes of Giroud and Yaya Sanogo do not already do. His expensive wage demands cap make him something of a last resort.
