Jack Wilshere
Like the Welshman this 22-year-old is probably too young to be named skipper just yet, but is the only player on the list to come through the academy.
A Gunner through and through Wilshere joined the North Londoners as a schoolboy and if he can prove the talent his potential has shown, could well be handed the armband in the future.
