1) Arturo Vidal (Juventus)
Recently linked with what would be a club-record £44m move to Arsenal, Juventus star Arturo Vidal is undoubtedly one of the best all-round midfielders in the game at the moment. The Chile international impressed greatly at the 2014 World Cup and has been a key member of Juve’s recent run of three successive Serie A titles. Combining great defensive awareness, work-rate, quality passing and an eye for goal, the 27-year-old would be well worth spending the extra money on, as he is simply on another level from the likes of Sami Khedira or Arsenal’s current options. The likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid are also after him, so Arsenal would do well to beat their rivals to the signing of a world class midfielder.
