Manchester City could be using their superb African powerhouse…

In what’s turning out to be one of the strangest footballing stories of the summer, Manchester City’s best player Yaya Toure seems to be itching for a move away from the Etihad, because the club didn’t celebrate his birthday properly!
“What happened at his birthday meant the club don’t care about him. It was proof,” said his agent Dmitry Seluk. “They can say whatever they want, ‘Oh we like him, but we forgot.’ None of them shook his hand on his birthday. It’s really sick.”
The reports seemed bizarre at first, but comments from the player indicate that they are not entirely false.
“Everything dimitry said is true,” Touré tweeted, regarding the statetmens. “He speaks for me. I will give an interview after world cup to explain.”
It seems then the player might be either trying to earn a new contract, or force his way out of the club for whom he scored an astonishing 20 goals last term on City’s way to the Premier League title.
If this comes into fruition, City would undoubtedly have to replace one of the world’s very best midfielders, and here’s five players potentially capable of replacing him.
5) Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal
Ramsey shot to prominence this season as one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe, scoring 15 goals, including the winner in the FA Cup final. His ability as an attacking central midfielder is undeniable, and while City have signed multiple Arsenal players over the past few seasons, it seems virtually impossible that they’d be able to tempt the Gunners into parting with their star 23-year-old.
