3. Loic Remy (QPR)
The Frenchman is arguably the only player to emerge from QPR’s nightmare season with his reputation enhanced. After two decent campaigns in France with Marseille, Remy arrived at Loftus Road for £8m in January and has managed to bag 5 goals in just ten starts for Harry Redknapp’s now-relegated strugglers. Spurs have been linked with Remy since the beginning of last season, although it stands to reason that Redknapp was the driving force behind the interest from White Hart Lane.
But the 26-year-old is strong, quick, has an eye for goal and scored more headers than anyone else in Europe last season, suggesting he has all the weapons to be a success as Spurs’ lone striker. One thing is for certain: Remy will not want to hang around in the Championship.
