2. Tony Romo is a clutch quarterback
Romo continues to shut the mouths of those who claim he is a choke artist. The Dallas Cowboys defense had an off night against the New York Giants with 28 points allowed, but Romo still threw the game-winning touchdown to wide receiver Dez Bryant with a minute left to lead his team to a 31-28 win. He finished with four touchdown passes.
The Cowboys quarterback has often been underrated by fans due to his “fourth quarter failures.” While this is partly true, Romo has engineered many game-winning drives throughout his career, and he has improved in this department in the past few years. In addition to Sunday night’s game, Romo led the Cowboys to a comeback victory on the road against the Seattle Seahawks this season among other games. The Cowboys have given Romo a sufficient offensive line, defense and running game to work with, and he is able to lead them to more wins as a result.
