3. The Arizona Cardinals are Super Bowl pretenders
Losing to the Seattle Seahawks on the road is one thing, but losing to the Atlanta Falcons by double-digit points is not a good sign for a team that was once considered to be arguably the best in the NFL. Losing starting quarterback Carson Palmer to a season-ending ACL injury is likely a huge factor in addition to other key injuries.
The Seahawks have all the momentum right now though, and they are suddenly just one game out of the lead in the NFC West. The Cardinals are in serious danger of losing the No. 1 seed even if they hold on for the NFC West title after the Packers beat the Patriots. Since they play in the NFC West, the Cardinals have a brutal December schedule ahead of them with each of their division opponents scheduled in the final three weeks.
