1. The Pittsburgh Steelers are this year’s Super Bowl dark horse
The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos will enter the postseason as Super Bowl favorites, and most NFL fans would be shocked if one of them does not make the Super Bowl. They should prepare to be shocked though because the Steelers are one of the hottest teams in football and have the tools to make a surprise postseason run.
They have won four of their last five games, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is having the best season of his career with 30 touchdown passes and eight interceptions for a 103.8 passer rating. Running back Le’Veon Bell is also having an incredible season with 2,115 total yards and 11 touchdowns, and wide receiver Antonio Brown is a model of consistency with 122 catches for 1,510 yards and 12 touchdowns. However, the Steelers defense will need to step up to overcome elite offenses despite having one of their own.
