4. The Green Bay Packers defense will be tough to overcome
The Packers offense shined in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions as they scored 30 points against the second-ranked total defense and third-ranked scoring defense. The defense also performed well as they held the Lions to 20 points, and they previously held the Buffalo Bills to 12(21 if you count a safety and punt return touchdown) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to three. Holding elite offenses like the New England Patriots to 21 points and the Philadelphia Eagles to 20 is impressive as well.
Outside linebacker Clay Matthews is playing his best football at the right time with 6.5 sacks in his last four games, and he finished with 11 on the season. Matthews has been the cornerstone of the Packers defense, and it will be tough for any offense to overcome as long as he is playing at his best. The Packers defense is clicking at the right time, so they should be dangerous come playoff time.
