3. Peyton Manning is still the best quarterback in the NFL
With apologies to Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, Manning continues to play MVP-caliber football. Rodgers fell back down to Earth after throwing 13 touchdowns and zero interceptions during the Packers’ four-game winning streak by throwing two interceptions against the Saints although a hamstring injury could be blamed for that.
Manning, however, has had fantastic performances against the San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers. The reigning MVP has thrown 10 touchdowns with zero interceptions in his last three games, and he has a total of 22 touchdown passes against just three interceptions. The Broncos hold a 6-1 record, and Manning will look to maintain his MVP status with a win against the New England Patriots this coming Sunday.
