2. Tom Brady is still the same quarterback he’s always been
At the beginning of the season, there was talk that the Patriots quarterback was on the decline. After a 41-14 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Patriots have looked like Super Bowl contenders again, and Brady regained his old form. Since then, Brady has thrown 14 touchdowns with zero interceptions in his last four games. He threw five touchdown passes and only five incompletions against the Bears.
The Patriots will play the Broncos in their next game, so this coming Sunday will mark a major turning point in the MVP race. Brady is emerging as a sneaky MVP candidate, and his case will only be stronger if he can lead his team to victory again. The Patriots are currently 6-2, so he is on the right track.
