4. The Dallas Cowboys are much worse without Tony Romo
The Cowboys looked like the best team in the NFL for a little while, but they have since lost two games in a row. Their latest loss to the Cardinals can be partially attributed to the absence of quarterback Tony Romo though since he missed the game with a back injury. The offense was clearly worse off without him as Brandon Weeden threw two interceptions and looked dreadful, and wide receiver Dez Bryant was held to two catches for 15 yards.
One of those went for a touchdown, but it came in garbage time. Running back DeMarco Murray’s performance was also affected as his streak of 100-yard rushing games came to an end. Murray was held to 79 yards on 19 carries. Although this came against one of the top run defenses in the NFL, Murray proved that he is not the leading MVP candidate and that Romo is crucial to his success.
