3. Packers offense is no longer one-dimensional
The Green Bay Packers lacked a running game until last season with the emergence of Eddie Lacy. However, quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed about half the season, so Packers fans still have yet to see a full season of Rodgers and Lacy playing together. If their win against the Rams is any indication, the Packers may have the best offense in the NFL if it can play up to its potential. Rodgers looked flawless in his debut, and Lacy looks ready to build on his Offensive Rookie of the Year season.
2. Teddy Bridgewater could still catch Matt Cassel for Vikings starting QB job
Bridgewater looked like the future franchise player the Vikings hoped for when they traded up for him in the draft. The quarterback completed 16-of-20 of his passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner with 18 seconds left to give the Vikings a 30-28 victory.
However, Matt Cassel continued to perform well with 153 passing yards on 12-for-16 passing and a touchdown pass. The competition is still wide open, but Bridgewater gained a lot of ground.
