The Seahawks were unable to score the winning touchdown despite making it to the one-yard line as quarterback Russell Wilson threw an interception to seal the Patriots’ win.
This was one of the most exciting NFL seasons in recent memory, and the Super Bowl was a perfect way to put the icing on the cake.

5. The Seahawks talked trash too soon
Cornerback Richard Sherman was seen jawing at the Patriots on the Seahawks’ sideline after they took a 24-14, and he was mocking Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis for allowing a touchdown pass to reiterate that he’s the best corner in the game.
The Patriots must have seen this as they showed incredible nerve in their shocking comeback. The Seahawks have done well at getting in their opponents’ heads, but it didn’t work against Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as he threw two touchdowns when it counted most.
Fans who wanted to see karma hit the Seahawks for their trash talking have finally gotten their wish.
